Music On Three Tuning Systems, For Electric Guitar, Bass Clarinet And Cello Samples (series)
The work is a sort of reflection upon the time when occasionally our eyes and senses are both open. Somehow, I think that any sort of complementary action involving observation, over an object, across the windows or around us, is meant to be part of the process of listening. The two things go together.
This is not music to listen to with your eyes closed, but rather, the opposite. It is music composed to magnify the action of the eyes, the sense of active observation in the present moment and of the space around us.
