Huit rewrites for string instruments the electronic material of Genius Loci (2023), originally conceived for modular synths recorded in open fields in Tuscany. Eight interior regions, unfolding in an ascending arc — an exploration of form and force, visible and invisible, through the encounter between acoustic matter and electronic texture.
The performance was conceived for the Acusmonium SATOR spatial diffusion system, which multiplies the spatial and dynamic possibilities of the sound, amplifying the relationship between the piece and the space it inhabits.
